Stroudsmoor’s enduring reputation for gracious hospitality paired with old-world charm and scenic views of the surrounding mountains have made the Inn a wedding cornerstone in the Poconos for 40 years. Situated atop its own mountain and sprawling across 200+ acres bordering the nearby Cherry Valley National Wildlife Refuge, Stroudsmoor boasts six diverse wedding and event venues from which our couples may choose to host their celebration. Your Fairytale Castle Wedding
Hold a grand wedding reception in Stroudsmoor’s premiere facility accommodating 175 to 350 guests. Terraview offers you the royal wedding of your dreams with the façade of a stone castle. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres are served in the lounge and Conservatory overlooking the Terraview garden.

Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres are served in the lower level of the building. Dinner and dancing follow on the upper level where grapevine and lights highlight the dance floor and grand windows surrounding the room offer a view into the woods.

The pavilion at Lawnhaven provides a perfect secondary option to eliminate the worries of inclement weather and comes complete with a cozy fireplace, stone bar, and casual outdoor seating. It is situated on a terraced lawn between Stroudsmoor’s Main Inn and the Cabins on the Commons. Its footprint creates a complete circle, forming an open-air arena surrounded by lush evergreen gardens for total privacy.

The wedding ceremony is celebrated on one of two grand lawns. An event at Lawnhaven requires a minimum of 75 guests, while it graciously accommodates a maximum of 150 for a traditional served meal; 200 for a cocktail reception.

The wedding ceremony is orchestrated under towering black walnut trees, surrounded by the woods and fields of wildflowers. Open to the sky above or under custom tenting, are among the options available for your celebration at the Pavilion. The Pavilion will graciously accommodate 50 to 110 guests for grazing-style receptions with tailored-to-your-taste buffet menu options.

Stroudsmoor is the real deal. When we got engaged, my top priority was that I did not want to be stressed on my wedding day. Leading up to the day, I knew there was a lot of work, a lot of planning, but on my actual wedding day, I wanted to take care of nothing. I wanted to be in charge of nothing. I used to work in events, and I know the depth and insanity that comes with planning an event and how hard the actual event day can be. I knew that whatever venue we picked, it would need to be as all-inclusive and simple as possible. Everything about Stroudsmoor was a dream. The entire process was seamless. They were so professional. They were upfront on costs. Any service they did not offer themselves they had a list of preferred, recommended vendors. Leading up to the wedding day, we met with our planner, Kaylie, regularly, their on-site florist, Grayson, and Gina and the whole team at the bridal salon were incredible. They walked us through everything, step-by-step. We got married at Woodsgate this summer – surrounded by the forest, it was absolutely gorgeous and everything we could have hoped for. The most perfect wedding
Our wedding at The Stroudsmoor Country Inn was a dream. We are so happy we chose this venue. Our wedding planner Grace was such a huge help during the whole planning process and she was there the day of to make sure everything went perfectly. The staff were so helpful and kind during the entire wedding weekend. The guests raved over the food, cake, flowers, rooms, etc. Everything was perfect! We can’t wait to come back for our anniversary next year!
A perfect choice!
Stroudsmoor Country Inn was the perfect venue for our wedding at Auradelle. From the very beginning, the team was responsive, timely and accurate in their communication, making the planning process seamless even though we were coming from out of state. Our wedding coordinator Kaylie was incredibly easy to work with remotely and ensured every part of our day was flawless. The grotto and reception space were absolutely beautiful and romantic, and the flower arrangements were stunning - Grayson truly captured our vision perfectly. All the food and bakery items were superb, with no complaints whatsoever. We could not be happier with our choice of Stroudsmoor Country Inn and highly recommend them to any couple looking for a perfect, romantic wedding venue.
Best Venue Ever!!
Our wedding here was everything we could have dreamed of and more. Everyone kept talking about how amazing all the staff was!! Our day of coordinator, Kaylie, was so helpful and worked so hard to help us every step of the way. The venue (Terraview) was breathtaking, the food and cake were delicious, and the lodging was perfect!! It was so great to have our close friends and family all staying together on site. This venue is amazing because there are so many things on site: the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner the day before, the bridal studio for hair, the florals, and the bakery! I’m so thankful I also had a bridal assistant the day of (which I didn’t even know I would get!!), I had a very heavy veil and we had a lot of issues trying to get it to stay in my hair, and she was able to get it to stay!! The staff all made sure we had plenty of food and drinks and were so attentive. You get so much bang for your buck here. We had an absolutely amazing time and could not recommend this venue enough!
